RPL, the Trans/Queer Edition
Time for another post wherein Tim Barnett (Mr. B) of Red Pen Logic (RPL) responds to some atheist/ skeptic/progressive’s claims about some point of contention, usually socio-political and/or theological/philosophical in nature. Reflecting a conservative Christian approach, Barnett uses facts and reason — and certainly a better understanding of Scripture — to boldly yet irenically explain why the claimant is wrong. The people making such claims are either confused or intentionally trying to mislead others.
In the unusually brief first video below, Mr. B reacts to a meme that tried to use genetics to claim that “either Jesus was trans, or Mary was intersex.” In the second video, some TikToker attempts to make a biblical case that “God is trans,” but Mr. B walks through how the claim falls flat. The third video shows another LGBTQ+ dude using the biblical idea of repentance to try to support modern identity politics. Apparently, Jesus was queer, and he just want us to break our chains and “become something fabulous.” Good grief. Mr. B ain’t havin’ it, and neither should you…
