In Their Own Words: Islamists Plan to Transform U.S. Under Sharia Law

In case you’re wondering what I meant by “Islamist” in the above title, the following definition I got from an AI Search Assistant should clarify:
“An Islamist is a person who advocates for reordering government and society according to Islamic laws and principles, often believing that Islam should influence political systems. This term is distinct from general Muslim identity, as it specifically relates to a political ideology.”
With that out of the way, were you aware of the efforts of many Muslims within the U.S. to infiltrate U.S. political and cultural institutions in order to gradually get Sharia Law more accepted, first in Muslim-majority cities — see Dearborn, MI, for instance — and eventually nationwide. Sound like a right-wing conspiracy theory? Unfortunately, no.
This past week, I received a trio of messages from Liberty Counsel Action (the same group that I cited last week regarding Sen. Murkowski’s lies about the SAVE America Act) in which Mat Staver provided the information below. It is quite disturbing to me and should be to you, too, regardless of your political or religious leanings.

A Dallas-area organization calling itself the Islamic Tribunal put its own language online exposing its efforts to advance Sharia law in the area. The group’s founders and advisers include several men formally trained in Islamic law.
For example, Dr. Bassam Obeid holds a bachelor’s degree in Sharia from the Islamic University of Madinah, and Imam Moujahed Bakhach earned a master’s degree in Islamic law from Al-Azhar University. This tribunal’s website used the following language:
It called its decision-makers “judges.”
It said disputes would be resolved according to “Islamic Jurisprudence and its Shari’ah or Law.”
It said its purpose was to settle “any dispute among Muslims residing in the USA.”
And most strikingly, it reportedly claimed to operate “under the approval of the Texas Judicial system.”
Its decisions, according to the language cited by Texas officials, were described as “final according to Islamic jurisprudence.”
That is not the language of a Bible study group or a pastor offering advice. It is the language of a body presenting itself as an official court recognized in America. Only it isn’t. And Texas officials noticed.
This Sharia law is dangerous because it attacks the core of our Constitution with foreign rules that fly in the face of our protected freedoms. We urgently need to fight back and stop this from happening anywhere in America!
Send your urgent faxes to Congress to support two bills (H.R. 5722 and S. 3009) that will restrict the spread of Sharia-based practices in the United States.
Gov. Greg Abbott called for investigations. Attorney General Ken Paxton opened a formal inquiry into this Tribunal, but then something interesting happened. The Tribunal’s language instantly changed, which shows that from the beginning it was trying to push the envelope and establish itself as having the force of law.
But our concerns extend beyond one organization or one state. No Islamic tribunal should be able to exercise civil authority that overrides state law or undermines our Constitution.
This is something that must be addressed at a national level.
Because if one state takes this seriously while another state turns away, we do not have one legal standard. We have a patchwork. And a patchwork is exactly where parallel systems can take root, then fester, and finally destroy our nation.
The United States needs unmistakable legal clarity: No foreign, religious, or ideological legal code should ever supersede the Constitution, American civil law, or the fundamental rights of an American citizen.
That line should not depend on whether you live in Texas, California, Michigan, or New York. It should be clear and it should be enforced.
Right now, there are bills in both chambers of Congress that will address this dangerous invasion of Sharia-based practices into America.

Tomorrow, thousands are expected to gather in Detroit at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) annual convention. The chilling voices of violent radicals are among the featured speakers, and some have been very frank about their dangerous goals for America.
Imam Zaid Shakir, a frequent ISNA speaker, previously spoke of building a nationwide Muslim “infrastructure,” saying that with enough organization and resources, “we’d take over this country in a very short time.”
Imam Siraj Wahhaj, former ISNA vice president, told Muslims that political involvement should be “a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.” He also spoke openly about Muslims gaining enough political power to take control of America, saying: “Take my word, if eight million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us.”
These are not fringe whispers; these words have come from prominent Islamic leaders who have held influential positions within or appeared repeatedly at ISNA events. Right now, we are facing a coordinated attack that threatens the right of every American to equal protection under the law.
However, there is a clear way to push back and preserve our Constitution through H.R. 5722 and S. 3009 — the Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act. Send your urgent faxes to Congress right now. Demand that lawmakers pass H.R. 5722 and S. 3009 before this new ideology hardens into American policy.
Repressive radicals are not the only ones speaking there. The Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s appearance raises serious questions. He rode 94% Muslim support to win the Democratic nomination. Now he stands on the same stage as those who have openly described politics as “a weapon” to be used to promote Islamic political dominance.
Also speaking is Imam Siraj Wahhaj who reminded people that “Wherever you came from, you came to America… to establish Allah’s deen [i.e., rule]… democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing, and the only thing that will remain will be Islam.” By the way, Wahhaj is listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Another speaker, Muzammil Siddiqi, a former ISNA president and longtime Islamic scholar, has taught that Muslims should participate in the American system while working toward the imposition of Sharia. In a 2008 address, he described the ideal hierarchy this way: “We must not forget that Allah’s rules have to be established in all lands, and all our efforts should lead to that direction.”
The Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act draws a bright, national line: we are NOT importing a foreign political code to supersede our own Constitution, state law, or the rights given by God to every citizen.

Is a “Grand Jihad” happening in Motor City this weekend?
To answer that question, you don’t need to look at distant battlefields. Just zoom in on what is happening today in Detroit, Michigan. Today (Sept. 4), thousands are gathering for the annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) three-day convention.
But beneath the PR glitz lies a troubling paper trail — one linking the event’s organizers to a long-term strategy to destroy American society and culture — all from within. The strategy is detailed in a secret Muslim Brotherhood document the FBI uncovered in 2004. It contains these chilling words:
“The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house.”
The document goes on to explain that this destruction is intended to ensure “Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
One absolute necessity they need to move this agenda forward is Sharia law imposed nationwide. And that is exactly what we must fight. Today.
Key legislators in Congress have introduced the “Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act” to protect us from this evil attack. But we need your help to flood Congress with faxes to push this bill across the finish line.
“Grand Jihad” isn’t our term. It comes directly from an internal strategic planning document seized by federal investigators. This pivotal 1991 memorandum is titled “On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America.”
The goal as articulated in the memo is to gradually alter Western institutions into the Muslim Brotherhood’s ideal. Leading Muslim Brotherhood ideologue Yusuf al-Qaradawi described this patient approach as preparing societies “ideologically, psychologically, morally, and socially to accept and adopt the application of the Shariah.” He stressed that it must be done “step by step, and through wise planning.”
The ultimate objective was articulated by Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna: “[I]t is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”
Not a sudden military assault, but a multi-institutional ecosystem constantly pushing an Islamic agenda. And doing so through what this document calls “a list of our organizations and the organizations of our friends.”
Now, can you guess who is first on that internal list of “our organizations”? The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) — the exact group convening thousands in Michigan today.
And a group which federal prosecutors included in its list of unindicted co-conspirators in a plot to send more than 12 million dollars to the terrorist group Hamas.
One of the featured speakers at the ISNA meeting, you’ll be interested to learn, is Michigan’s Democrat U.S. Senate candidate.
Our nation is under threat. We need to stop the march of this decades-long Muslim Brotherhood plan to destroy our nation.

Like the man said, “This battle is no longer theoretical. Silence is no longer an option.” These guys are smart and patient (sort of), as they seek to methodically undermine our Constitution, state laws, etc. We can’t let the Islamists get any more of a foothold than they already have — look what they are doing to places like Germany and the U.K.!
